Sorting through the younglings clothes

For the last few days I had been planning on sorting through the younglings clothes but sadly there was something that got in the way of them.

Not today though. I managed to get the job done and it looks so much better. The smallest age range that I found there was 9 - 12 months, but most of the clothes that I took out was 2 - 3.

I just need to make sure that it stays neat and organized now.

This is what it looked like before:

Getting organized

Recently I have been recording some TV programmes to watch. One of them was turning women into the perfect housewife. The other one was How clean is your house.

As I watched them I found myself not only learning things from them but using them as well. As I was watching them I was cleaning and organizing the flat. Clearing away the clutter.

Today I worked on the living room. I moved the board games that were on top of the book cabinets as well as the clutter that was on top of the fridge. They look so much better now.

The best thing is that I finally feel like I am winning the war. I still have a long way to go, but I have reached a turning point. I feel like I am also organizing my time better as I have got things done today that I have put off for a while. It has taught me that I need to keep making sure that I get my priorities right. I also need to make

I also started sorting through my photography magazines as well. I finally feel that I am beginning to get organized. As well as organizing my time better and getting my priorities right (I spent too much time on the computer looking at things that were not worth wasting my time on)

I think this picture is appropriate for how I feel at the moment (Eek using a proper motivational poster as well)

Clearing through the clutter

Well I have got the bit between my teeth and I have been sorting through the shed.

I decided yesterday that I would just pick out a black bag, have a quick look through to make sure that there is not anything that I really want or need, or anything important. After a quick sift the bag got put in the bucket. It was not long before I had got rid of two bags.

When I put out the neighbors bucket out this morning I noticed that there was only one black bag in the bucket. I knocked on the door to ask if I could put some black bags in there. There was no response. I decided that as the bucket was being emptied that I would put the stuff in anyway.

I managed to get rid of five bags this morning in about forty minutes. I am very impressed with what I have managed to do. There is still a lot of stuff to get rid of, but it is good to see such progress being made.

Applying for an ILA

I thought that I would get another ILA pack sent to me as I am not sure where the one that they sent me was.

I went onto their site and was going through the section to apply for the new pack when it told me that I was not eligible for a an ILA. I think I will have to phone them up tomorrow to ask what was happening as well as searching for the pack that I have got.

Busy in the shed

My dad said he would take some things up to the refuse tip tomorrow so when I was sorting out some things to take I decided that if I put all of the loose paper into bags then I will be able to get the shed looking better and it would make the job of sorting through it easier.

As my mum and dad had taken the wee ones out I had a great chance to sort through the shed. I managed to get quite a pile of stuff to get taken away tomorrow. It will be nice to see it cleared away.

I spent most of the day in the shed bagging up things but it looks so much better now. There is space there now and we can get in without too much trouble.

In fact there was so much space made I decided that I would move all of the junk from the wee storage cupboard and put that in the shed as well. I was able to move a lot of stuff from there and it now means that we can also walk in there without problems.

I cleared the shelves so I could move the shoes that were in the porch and put them out on the shelves. They are all set out nicely which will make it much easier to find them when I need them.

I am really proud of the work that I have managed to get done. It really has made a difference.

All I need to do is to make sure that I do go through the stuff in the shed and get rid of it as I really have had enough of the clutter.

Working on my corner

I have been working on my corner for the last couple of days. I started on the book case. I took everything out and gave it a good clean.

After that I went through the books and put aside any that I no longer want. There are some books that I have not read for years. Heck there are some books that I have got that I have not even read at all. My friend said that she would take them up to the cahrity shop the next time that she went. that will clear away a lot of stuff.

I cleared a lot of stuff from the shelves and I removed the brokn shelf. That makes more room for the printer.

There are still some things that I still need to go through but it is looking so much better. I have even cleaned the tubes that I have got for my incence.

June goals

These are my goals for June:
  1. Sort through the younglings clothes and find any that are too small for them.
  2. Clear my desk of clutter.
  3. Apply for ILA
  4. Get to bed at a decent time (Lights out by 12 at the latest)
  5. Keep working on the shed.
I will make sure that I print out this list so that I can easily keep track of my challenges for the month.
